This is the last school week in 2018. Just wanted to remind everybody that winter holidays start from Friday, December 21 and continue until Sunday, January, 6, 2019. This friday is a flex day off and then the 2-weeks break kicks in.
The holiday festive spirit is catching all of us. We are looking forward to saying goodbye to 2018 and cycling in 2019. The older kids are aware that when January comes again, the year will not be 2018 but it will be 2019.
Shape pizza making on Friday was a lot of fun. The children enjoyed it. We will certainly be doing it again. Today, we enjoyed playing together and exploring outdoors. Older children found circle, heart and other leaf shapes. It’s great to see them independently making these observations and associations.
Today we also mapped where many of our friends (Aanya, Raisa, Laasya) are, more are going (Avni-Vani) followed by those headed to Southern California (Teacher Vrinda), Las Vegas (Kenzie, Teacher Vrinda) and Oregon (Alexandra). Next departures are from Thursday onwards. It was fun to see the directions we are all heading in on the map.
We look forward to more fun times over the week. Until tomorrow...
